EmyG is going for her MRI right now. We were told that the CT from earlier this week showed significant damage that will severely impact her functioning.
We know physically, in terms of “natural processes and functions”, there is no hope for recovery. God operates outside of this realm. People ask how I, as an epidemiologist, can believe anything beyond odds and probabilities. Odds and probabilities can describe God’s creation, but they do not describe God, or his capabilities.
We are praying for a miracle regarding her brain.

Ezra and Rebekah- we keep praying for EmyG and family. I understand the explanation of God and capabilities that surpass science. I personally know one of Gods miracles. Her name is Katie and I babysat for her 35 years ago. That was many years before one seemingly random night of seizures. Her story transcends medical explanation. I pray for EmyG and fully trust Gods will. Only God knows how the pieces of her story fit together and I have full trust in God’s ability and plan. Thank you for allowing me a glimpse into EmyG’s journey. I am grateful for the opportunity to see her as an amazing blessing in the lives of everyone she touches. Thank you, God. May all experience peace, comfort and joy in every step of the way.
